Who We Are

It is hard to move to a new town in the best of times.  Doing so in the time of COVID-19 makes it even harder. How do you meet new people when the usual gatherings about town have been postponed for months on end?  For those of you who are new to Missoula, welcome to our robust, vibrant community.

Ordinarily, there are so many events happening each week it can feel exhausting, and we await the slower months of winter to provide time to renew and recharge.  While zooming may feel tiresome as we spend our days online, we want to welcome everyone to the goings-on of our town, help you meet new people in the community, and perhaps point you in the direction of things that would interest you.

Amazingly, there are more than 1,000 registered nonprofits in Missoula, including the offices of several national organizations.  So come pull up a virtual chair, pour yourself a beverage, and get to know the community.  Even if you have been here for 20 years, you might find out something new that interests you, or meet people you would love to dine with (once present restrictions are lifted).  Trust us, we would love to do this in person and will as soon as we can, but in the meantime, let's ZOOM…
