Calling All Volunteers – Attention All Community Members

Guest Blog Post By: Mountain Home Montana

Attention all community members! Mountain Home Montana's community center is seeking volunteers with special skills to help us extend the valuable services we provide to our clients and their families. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community, meet new people, and gain valuable experience. Plus, you'll have fun doing it! Whether you can commit to a few hours a week, a few hours a month, or a one-time skill share, your contribution will make a difference.

Our community center is a space where all are welcome to come together and learn, make connections, enhance skills, and receive wrap-around support. Currently, Mountain Home offers a wide array of programs, like support groups, financial education courses, arts and crafts, and movement classes. As our organization continues to blossom, we are looking to expand these creative and skill-building opportunities through community member involvement. If you have a passion or special skill you would like to share with the Mountain Home Community, please do not hesitate to contact our community center team at the addresses below!

In addition to those with special skills, our community center is calling all home chefs, cooks, and bakers!! Throughout the year, our community center organizes food volunteer groups to cook for monthly community dinners with the Mountain Home community on campus and to prepare weekly frozen meal trains that distribute home-cooked meals to new parents. Does your company provide volunteer hours for their employees or do you have a group of friends interested in creating a meal train?

Check out our website or reach out to Roe or Steph in the community center for more information and ways to sign up!

Interested in general volunteer opportunities other than those mentioned above? Please fill out our volunteer application for intermittent and seasonal volunteer gigs! Together, we can create a thriving community hub that benefits everyone in our community. Reach out to our team at the addresses below today with any questions and to learn more about how you can get involved!
